What we do Google Ads

Be the first thing they see,
the moment they need you.

Somebody types what you do, and you are at the top of the page. It works the day you switch it on, which is the whole point of it, and it stops the day you switch it off, which is why it runs alongside SEO rather than instead of it.

The work

Where your money actually goes.

Move the numbers around. This is the arithmetic we run before we spend anything.

The arithmetic Change a number and everything below it recomputes. This is the conversation we have before spending anything.

Monthly ad budget

What a customer is worth to you

These are realistic figures for aesthetics and local health, not best case. A $9 click, one enquiry in every eight clicks, and one booking in every three enquiries.

What your ad looks like Click a search to see the ad we would run against it.

Every ad points at a page about that exact thing, never at the home page. Sending a Botox search to a home page is the most common and most expensive mistake in local advertising.

Where budget gets wasted Real search terms an account pays for. Click one to say whether you would want it.
Judge them yourself These are the kinds of search a broad-match campaign actually pays for. Tap each one as Wanted or Wasted and see what it costs you a month. Managing this list is most of what campaign management really is.
Proving it worked The chain from a click to a booking you can point at. Press play.
They click the ad Tagged with the campaign, the ad and the exact search
They call or fill in a form Calls tracked to the search that produced them
It becomes a lead In your dashboard, with the source on it
It becomes a contact and a deal So you can see what closed, not just what enquired
You see the real number Cost per booking, not cost per click

Most agencies report clicks and impressions because those numbers are always flattering. The number that matters is what a booked customer cost you, and it needs the CRM and the phone tracking wired to the ads to exist at all.

And the rest of it

How we run it, and what we will not do.

The account is yours

Opened in your name, and you keep it if you leave, with every bit of history and learning in it. Agencies that run you inside their own account are holding something hostage, and years of optimisation data is a real thing to lose.

Negative keywords are the job

Anybody can turn ads on. The work is stopping you paying for jobs, courses, cheap, free, DIY and the twenty other things people type that will never book. That list is built weekly from your real search terms, not once at setup.

Every ad has its own landing page

A Botox search goes to the Botox page, with that price on it. Pointing everything at the home page is the most common and most expensive mistake in local advertising, and it is why plenty of businesses conclude ads do not work.

Calls are tracked to the search

Most enquiries from a local ad are phone calls, and a call is invisible unless it is tracked. Without it you are optimising on the minority of people who fill in a form, which is a different and usually less valuable group.

You see the numbers live

In the Analytics app, in real time, not in a monthly PDF that arrives on the eleventh. Spend, clicks, cost per click, results and cost per result, by campaign, whenever you want to look.

We will tell you not to

If your budget is too small for your market, or your website will not convert the traffic, we will say so rather than take the money and let it fail. A campaign that was never going to work costs you more than the ad spend.

Questions

Google Ads, answered.

Enough to get meaningful data in your market, which for most local health and aesthetics businesses is $1,500 to $3,000 a month to start. Below roughly $1,000 there is usually not enough volume to optimise against, and we would rather tell you that than take it.

Yes. It is opened in your name and you keep it if you ever leave, with all its history. Years of optimisation data lives in an ad account, and an agency that runs you inside theirs is holding something that is genuinely valuable to you.

No, and nobody's is. You pay Google directly for the clicks, on your own card, and you pay us to run it. That also means you can see exactly what was spent rather than taking our word for it.

You can be at the top of the page the day it goes live. The first four to six weeks are spent finding out which searches actually produce bookings and cutting the ones that do not, so the numbers usually improve a lot after the first month.

They do different jobs. Ads work immediately and stop when you stop paying. SEO takes months and then keeps working. If you have to pick one to start, ads answer the question of whether the demand exists, which is useful to know before investing months in SEO.

Searches you refuse to pay for. Somebody typing botox training course or botox jobs is never going to book a treatment, and without a negative list you pay for both. Building that list from your real search terms every week is most of what management actually is.

No. Bidding on a competitor's name is expensive, invites them to do it back, and mostly buys clicks from people who were always going to choose them. We would rather spend it on searches about what you do.

Cost per booked customer, not cost per click. That needs the phone calls tracked and the CRM wired to the ads, which is exactly what the dashboard does, so you can see which campaign produced a customer rather than which produced traffic.

Any time, and it stops that day. That is the nature of ads and it is both the advantage and the catch: nothing carries over once the spend stops, which is the argument for building SEO underneath it.

Let us do the arithmetic on your numbers.

Book a call and we will work out what a customer is worth to you, what your market costs per click, and whether ads make sense before anybody spends anything. Month to month, and nothing to sign.
